That seems like progress, but the device assignment page in the web console still doesn't list the drives attached to the Marvell ports.

Intel D975XBX2 Marvell SATA driver needed for Windows 7
I found this thread, which gives some advise with some commands to try: I tried a known dd975xbx2 floppy drive and then a good cable.
The cable only connects one way, there is a notch one each side of the cable. Hopefully I posted this in the right section! It will go out after I hit cancel or exit. Nibiru Quick Scotty, beam me up! At this point, I really think the trick is just getting the drivers loaded and working. It comes with two floppies one for the blue connectors and one for the black. Glad you got them working. I never saw that, but missed the yellow?

Downsides are that you'll lose the IDE controllers, but at least in my case that's no contest. The floppies do contain the files needed; I checked them on a second computer. This is my "main" computer, but I eata it as a media server for my home theater. I have made a few computers in my time but this MB is a real pain in the rump!
